Sharon Mattison - Clarkson Town Clerk

Sharon S. Mattison was elected to the position of Clarkson Town Clerk in January 2008.  Since her election Sharon has served the residents of Clarkson as Town Clerk, Records Management Officer, Tax Collector, Marriage Officer, Passport Agent, Loan Closet coordinator and Notary Public.  Sharon is a member of the Monroe County and N.Y.S. Town Clerks’ Association and is the Secretary for the Clarkson Republican Committee.

Sharon gained her local government experience during the 19 years she served as Clarkson Court Clerk.  Sharon enjoys working with the public and is always looking for ways to better serve the residents of Clarkson; as a result she has extended her office hours to include evening and weekend hours.

Sharon and her husband Mark have three children:  Scott, a student at R.I.T.; Kelly, a student at SUNY Brockport, and Travis, a junior at Brockport High School.  They are owners of Ridgecrest Turkey Farm.
